Who is this course suitable for?

This course is the Romanian language version of our asbestos awareness online course.

This course is suitable for Romanian-speaking candidates who may work in buildings where asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) could be present.

During the course, you will learn about the properties of asbestos, its common applications in buildings, and the circumstances under which it can pose a risk.

This training will equip candidates with the information needed to protect themselves from the dangers of airborne asbestos fibres and ensure they understand how to adhere to the health and safety regulations outlined in asbestos legislation.

The Romanian online asbestos awareness course is offered free of charge if you do not require a certificate of completion at the end. If you do require a certificate, the course fee is just £14 + VAT.

Course Outline

The course is divided into the following sections:

Section 1 – Why is Asbestos Dangerous?: This section will explain the reasons why the use of asbestos can prove to be dangerous.

Section 2 – Asbestos Facts: This section will introduce you to different types of asbestos along with their properties.

Section 3 – Types of Asbestos

Section 4 – Uses of Asbestos

Section 5 – Asbestos Applications: This section will explain asbestos application and the places and materials in which it is used.

Section 6 – Asbestos Legislation and Compliance: Basic legislation and how to avoid risk of exposure to asbestos, including emergency procedures.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for individuals who encounter asbestos-containing materials in their work activities or operate in buildings where asbestos is present. It is also intended for those who manage, supervise and oversee such work.

The course complies with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Approved Codes of Practice L143. Additionally, those needing “Duty to Manage” asbestos training may enroll in the NATAS Asbestos Awareness and Duty to Manage eLearning Course.

What is the pass mark for the assessment?

The pass mark for our Romanian online asbestos awareness course is 80%. This pass mark allows for up to two incorrect answers. If you do not meet the 80% threshold, you will have 3 attempts to retake the assessment. If you still do not pass after these 3 attempts, an additional license will need to be purchased.

About our asbestos awareness course

This online course does not qualify participants to work directly with asbestos containing materials. Additional training is required for tasks that involve the handling, removal, or repair of asbestos materials. However, this course provides the necessary asbestos awareness for such training.

This course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. You don’t need to complete the course in a single session, it can be taken online at your convenience.
