The NATAS P405 course provides candidates with a good understanding of asbestos surveying, removal, assessment and analytical services. It provides the necessary background knowledge to procure, monitor and audit the quality of these services.

Why Is Asbestos Dangerous?

Asbestos is a potentially very harmful material. It is made up of fibres that can become airborne when disturbed. If inhaled, these fibres can lead to serious health issues. Therefore those who may come into contact with the substance, must be able to identify asbestos and handle it safely. Understanding how to limit your exposure to asbestos-containing materials (ACM) is crucial to your health and the health of those around you.

Why Is Asbestos Management Training Important?

Although banned in the UK in 1999, asbestos is present across millions of buildings throughout the country. This poses a considerable risk to people from various industries working in these properties and potentially exposing themselves to the harmful fibres. It is crucial for many businesses that their team know how to handle and remove asbestos safely without putting themselves or others at risk.
